They accuse us of winecide: drinking great wine without ceremonies, with whatever glass is around, maybe with pizza. Guilty.

WINECIDE exists because top wine is expensive for reasons that have nothing to do with wine: three middlemen, a theatre of rituals, marble still-life photography. We skip all of it. We buy together — thirty boxes at a time — straight from the people who make it, we ship one pallet, and we tell you exactly what our margin is: declared, out loud.

The selection is signed by someone who knows the producers in person: their faces, their villages, their hectares. No medals, no scores — just wine we drink ourselves. Names stay sealed until the truck leaves: labels revealed on arrival.

And these are not leftover bottles on discount. We pick producers for how they work: with respect for the vineyard, the vintage and the people who will drink the wine. Clean farming, honest cellars, a lighter touch where it counts. No trend-chasing, no buzzwords — just people who give a damn.
